Chris Christie Goes on Weight Watchers to get ready for fall race

You may have not noticed it, but Republican gubernatorial candidate Chris Christie has been slimming down over the years. This is in preparation for his long-awaited run for governor.

He was probably at his chunkiest in 1995, when he was elected to the Morris County Board of Chosen Freeholders ----as you can clearly see in above photo. Perhaps this was one of the several reasons he was not re-elected in 1997. At that time he tried Slim-Fast for the first time, and it had a moderate to little effect on his weight.

In 2001, after raising mucho dollars for then presidential candidate George W. Bush, Christie was appointed the U.S. Attorney for the District of New Jersey. He was a bit thinner than in his days as a freeholder, but still fairly hefty.

Finally, as you can see here in his official gubernatorial candidate photo----you can clearly see the effect Weight Watchers has had.

Perhaps he has been a bit too successful, and needs to ‘bulk’ up again for the fall race.
